We left Antarctica in the early morning. I was asleep so I didn’t get to say goodbye to the shelf or the penguins. :( It’s ok though. We are now carefully trudging through multi-year ice at a wildly speedy 1 knot haha.

Well we’ve been plenty west of zero because we can’t really do anything
else haha, and I think we’re still heading a bit to the west thanks to the
ice. But yes, we are also northbound! Right now we need the ice to be
favorable haha.

It’s warm and sunny today. -2.2C, with a small wind that puts us into the
upper teens (in fahrenheit) as well haha. How’s that for relativity? :)

Been out a lot today, enjoying the sun and the big sky. Can still see the
shelf and a couple of huge icebergs in the distance, so I made sure to say
goodbye this time :)

Will let the sunshine and fresh air into my mind and get blogging :)
